Honorable Senator Lillian Dyck - Crossing Boundaries: Past, Present and Future

The Honorable Dr. Lillian Eva Quan Dyck is a member of the Gordon First Nation in Saskatchewan, the first female First Nations and first Canadian born Chinese Canadian senator. Her keynote presentation provides an opportunity to explore more the histories of immigration and settlement in Canada, with a focus on interactions between Natives and Chinese individuals, the responses of the host society, of native and non-natives, and how these attitudes both endured and changed overtime.
